The Borneo Cove Hotel really surpassed my expectations during my stay. the affordable prices were perfect for my budget as a backpacker. The modern and clean rooms were spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable stay. Additionally, the food from the hotel's restaurant was absolutely fantastic, with each bite being a delight.

The staff were always friendly, polite, and helpful. The hotel facilities, particularly the pool, were appealing, although it could have been deeper for swimming. The location was a bit far from the city centre, but compensated by being within walking distance of the harbour and close to other dining options.
